Auto-export candidate data to spreadsheets for custom analysis
TalentScreen's Google Sheets integration automatically exports candidate records, exam scores, and pipeline status to a spreadsheet you control. Perfect for custom reporting, data analysis, or sharing results with non-TalentScreen users.
Each candidate becomes a row with columns for name, email, job applied, exam score, date, pipeline stage, and custom fields. Updates sync in near-real-time (within 5 minutes of changes).
Authorize Google Sheets Access
Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Sheets. Click 'Connect'. Sign in with a Google account that has edit access to your target sheet.
Create or Select Spreadsheet
Choose 'Create New Sheet' for a pre-formatted template, or 'Use Existing' to append data to your own spreadsheet. Grant TalentScreen edit permissions.
Map Data Fields
Drag and drop to reorder columns. Hide fields you don't need (e.g., internal notes). Add calculated columns like 'Days in Pipeline' for custom metrics.
Set Sync Frequency
Choose continuous sync (5-min updates) or scheduled (daily/weekly exports). Continuous uses more API quota but ensures freshest data.
Configure Privacy Settings
Decide whether to sync PII like phone numbers and addresses. Restrict sheet sharing to comply with data privacy policies.
Google Sheets has a 10 million cell limit per spreadsheet. For high-volume hiring (1000+ candidates), set up monthly archives or filter exports to recent data only.
Use Sheets formulas to build custom dashboards, pivot tables for source attribution analysis, or conditional formatting to highlight top performers. Integrate with other tools via Zapier for endless automation possibilities.
