Using the Exam Designer
Learn how to create custom exams with the drag-and-drop exam builder.
The Exam Designer is your central hub for building assessments. Access it from your dashboard by clicking 'Create Exam' or navigating to the Exams section.
Building Your Exam
Start by giving your exam a clear title and description. This helps candidates understand what they're about to take. Set the total duration in minutes, which applies across all cases in the exam.
Use the drag-and-drop interface to add cases from the library or create custom ones. Reorder cases by dragging them into your preferred sequence. Each case shows its estimated completion time and type.
Configuring Settings
Set exam-level options like randomization, proctoring, and access controls. These settings apply to all candidates taking the exam. You can also enable features like anti-cheat monitoring and time extensions.
Preview your exam before publishing. This lets you experience it exactly as candidates will, including timing and navigation.
Once configured, save as a draft or publish immediately. Published exams can be assigned to candidates right away. Draft exams remain editable until you're ready to launch.
