Creating Assessments

Understand the difference between exams and assessments.

Assessments are collections of exams and evaluations tied to specific hiring workflows. While exams test skills, assessments represent the entire evaluation process for a role or program.

Assessment Structure

An assessment includes one or more exams, plus optional components like video interviews, reference checks, or manual reviews. Define the sequence and required passing scores for each stage.

Create assessments from the Assessments section in your dashboard. Name them clearly to reflect the role or program, such as 'Senior Analyst - 2025 Cohort' or 'Marketing Manager Screening'.

Multi-Stage Workflows

Add stages like initial screening, technical deep-dive, and final evaluation. Set prerequisites so candidates only advance after passing earlier stages. This automates your pipeline progression.

Link assessments to job postings so applicants automatically enter the right evaluation workflow when they apply.

Track assessment completion rates and stage drop-off to identify bottlenecks. Use this data to refine your evaluation process and improve candidate experience.
