How to request and receive accessibility support during your exam.
TalentScreen is committed to providing accessible assessment experiences. If you need accommodations due to a disability or other accessibility needs, you can request support before or during your exam.
Common accommodations include extended time, screen reader compatibility, keyboard-only navigation, adjustable text size and contrast, alternative input methods, and breaks during long exams.
We also support accommodations for specific needs like color blindness adjustments, distraction-free modes, and audio alternatives for written content.
Contact the employer who sent your exam invitation or reach out to TalentScreen support before starting your exam. Describe your needs and any specific accommodations you require.
Accommodation requests are handled confidentially. Your specific disability or need is not shared with the employer unless you choose to disclose it.
For most accommodations, we can adjust your exam settings immediately. More complex requests may require 24-48 hours to implement, so request as early as possible.
The exam interface includes several built-in accessibility features. You can adjust text size, enable high contrast mode, use keyboard shortcuts for navigation, and customize the code editor appearance.
Screen readers are supported throughout the interface. All interactive elements have proper ARIA labels and keyboard focus management.
If you need extended time, we can adjust your exam timer. Typical extensions range from 1.5x to 2x the standard time limit, depending on your needs and the accommodation request.
If you use assistive technology like screen readers or voice control, test it with the exam interface before starting. Contact support if you encounter compatibility issues.
If you encounter accessibility issues during the exam, contact support immediately via the help button in the interface. We can pause your timer while resolving technical accessibility problems.
All accommodation requests are treated confidentially. Requesting accommodations does not impact your evaluation or hiring prospects. You are assessed on the same criteria as all candidates, with adjustments made only to remove barriers, not lower standards.
