TalentScreen supports keyboard shortcuts to help you navigate faster and work more efficiently. This guide lists all available shortcuts organized by context.
Quick access
Press Shift+? anywhere in the platform to open the keyboard shortcuts overlay.
Global Shortcuts
These shortcuts work from anywhere in the platform.
- Cmd/Ctrl + K: Open command palette for quick navigation
- Cmd/Ctrl + /: Toggle help sidebar
- Shift + ?: Show keyboard shortcuts overlay
- G then D: Go to Dashboard
- G then A: Go to Assessments list
- G then C: Go to Candidates view
- G then S: Go to Settings
Dashboard Shortcuts
- N: Create new assessment
- F: Focus search/filter input
- J/K: Navigate down/up through results list
- Enter: Open selected result
- Cmd/Ctrl + R: Refresh data
Assessment Editor Shortcuts
When creating or editing an assessment.
- Cmd/Ctrl + S: Save draft
- Cmd/Ctrl + Enter: Publish assessment
- Cmd/Ctrl + P: Preview candidate view
- Cmd/Ctrl + D: Duplicate current question
- Delete: Remove selected question
- Up/Down arrows: Reorder questions
Results and Reports Shortcuts
- Cmd/Ctrl + E: Export current report as PDF
- Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + C: Copy candidate details to clipboard
- Left/Right arrows: Navigate between candidate sessions
- Tab: Cycle through report sections
Candidate Interface Shortcuts
Available during assessment taking.
- N: Next question
- P: Previous question
- M: Mark question for review
- 1-5: Select multiple-choice option (if applicable)
- Cmd/Ctrl + Enter: Submit assessment (with confirmation)
Browser compatibility
Some shortcuts may conflict with browser defaults. If a shortcut doesn't work, check your browser's keyboard settings.
