1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address, organization name, and role when you sign up.
• Candidate Information: Full name, age group, and photo captured during the exam pre-flow.
• Exam Data: Answers, scores, time taken, and research journal entries during assessments.
• Violation Logs: Anti-cheat monitoring events (e.g., tab switches, copy attempts) during exams.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and technical information (browser, IP address).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the TalentScreen assessment platform
• To send exam invitations and result notifications
• To grade assessments and generate reports for hiring organizations
• To detect and prevent cheating during exams
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries

3. Data Sharing

We share candidate exam data (scores, answers, violations) with the hiring organization that created the exam. We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers (Supabase for database, EmailIt for email delivery) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.

4. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Candidate exam data is retained for 2 years after the exam date, after which it is automatically anonymized. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 6).

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase auth tokens) and preference storage (theme selection). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences at any time.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
• Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format (JSON)
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw any previously given consent

For candidates: You can request data deletion directly from the exam completion page or by contacting us. Your request will be processed within 30 days.
